So who am I and what makes me think I can put stuff on the Internet that people will want to read and/or look at.
Well first of all I'm a gumpy Scotsman who's been taking pics for most of his adult life, and getting paid for it for the last 10+ years. As a Freelancer I take pics of just about anything from cars and bikes going round a racetrack to young women stepping out of their clothes, I know it's a hellish job but someone has to do it.
I used to play a lot of Battletech and Star Fleet Battles in the 80's but stopped and only in the last 6 or 7 years have I taken up wargames again, starting off with Warhammer Ancients and then moving on to 40k and WHFB, the recent release of the 25th Anniversary Battletech Box set has rekindled my desire for that game as well.
Currently playing a lot of 40k as I cannot get on with 8th edition WHFB, and will no doubt be persuaded to get into Warmachine at some point as there is a lot of that played at my FLGS.
What I'm hoping to do with this blog is show off some of my pics of minis, (and for the avoidence of doubt there won't be any of the aforementioned pics of ladies stepping out of their clothes), and possibly help people with their picture taking as well. One thing I should make really clear here, I can't paint to save my life, the vast majority of pics that you'll see on here will have been painted by someone else.
Enough for now, more will be added to this page as and when I feel like it.
